Also, I have a two people tent (flycreek Big Agnes UL2) if anybody wants to share with me or I am open to share with somebody if there is space.

Doug, thanks for taking time to organize and scout out conditions.  I’m super ready to get up there!! I have two micro burners and several full and half full fuel cans lying around; I’ll bring 3 or 4.

Looking forward to the climb. I will be bringing my splitboard. Any one else skiing/ boarding?

I will be bringing a stove and driving up from the Bay Area. However with Covid, I prefer not sharing the stove and driving alone. Gotta be vigilant about safety.

Vibhu: I think DK may have a point about sharing tents in the time of COVID.  The walk in will be really relaxed, the trail isn't too bad to camp (from what I recall but I'll know more tomorrow evening) and then the tents will be stashed at camp so even though it is going to increase pack weights everyone having their own tent may be the way to go.  Of course it's up to everyone regarding their level of comfort so if you want to share a tent I certainly won't say you can't.

DK: I think sharing stoves is OK, I mean we'll be boiling water only and that in and of itself should sterilize the water.  Again, to each his own but I don't think there's much of an issue there.

Greg: thanks for bringing some stoves and fuel and glad you're psyched.  I am too.

I will be coming up from Socal if anyone else is coming from there I wouldn’t mind a carpool.  I’ll bring a stove and some fuel which I am happy to share and if anyone want to share a tent I am also happy with that.  Looking forward to the trip.

At the end of this month my threesome from SoCal are making the long drive to duplicate your climb, so I have a couple of questions for you:

    1. Your photos show no ropes - did you need any for the summit day exposure? BTW, we are spending an extra day on the mountain to practice glacier rope work (basic arrests, climbing in crevasse etc.

    2. How is the raw water supply at Marine Camp?

    3. How many hours was your ascent from the trailhead to Marine Camp?

    Thanks for your comments!
