Hi Folks, looking forward to a nice climb.  Just back from climbing Elbrus in Russia.

For the transport to MT, I am planning on flying, unless others are planning a long drive. - Anybody else flying?  Would love to connect and share expenses - if flying (to Billings?), want to share a rental car?

    Best, Lisa

    Hey folks,

Looking forward to this climb! I am currently up in Missoula, Mt for the summer and I'll be driving out to Roscoe a day before we all meet up (June 30).

So no flying for me, and not a super long drive, only about 5.5-6 hours for me. With that in mind if anyone decides to fly into Missoula they are more than welcome to ride with me as another option. Just let me know.

    Steve

    Hi all!

I'm flying into Billings on Sunday June 30 arriving at 12:32 PM. (UA 579 - from SFO with layover in Denver)  Lisa - would that flight work for you?

Darren mentioned he and Stephen would be driving and have cars - would it be convenient for you guys to pick us up?

    Looking forward to it!

Hi Dan - I also, plan on flying in to Billings on Sunday, 30 June.  I'll try to get on the same flight from SFO.  We live in San Jose.

    See you soon!!!

And I'm hoping we can connect with others and carpool if possible.

    Hey,

I can pick you folks up in Billings, at the airport or where ever else we decide. Although, I am not sure what your plans are for lodging for the night, but my plan was to either camp in my car, or try to find a first come first serve camp site close to where we are meeting in the am.

I was planning to find a campground. I'll do some research today and tomorrow to find a suitable spot.

Is everyone bringing their own tent/stove for the climb? I will for sure bring my 1-person 3-season tent for camping the day before and was thinking of getting a 4-season. I have my own Jetboil stove.

Hey everyone, heading into the Tetons tomorrow. When I come out Granite Peak is next. I have quite a few tents and bivy sacks, as well as stoves and pots. There is little need to bring that stuff unless you really want to.

Plans stand as written to meet up early Monday morning and head in that day. If things change I will notify you all. Sounds like Stephen is available to pick folks up at the airport, thank you. I'll still be in Wyoming until late Sunday night, then driving up to Montana and sleeping in my car so I'll be there to greet you all Monday morning.

    Looking forward to the climb!

Hey Stephen. Thanks again for offering to pick us up. Lisa and I will be on the same flight in from SFO (via DEN) arriving at 12:32 PM. The nearest campground is the Jimmy Joe Campground, about 10 miles SW from Roscoe. It's first come, first serve. And if it fills up the East Rosebud campground is just down the road. Hopefully it will be less crowded on Sunday night.

    How does that sound?
