Presentation - Making the Transition to Mountaineering

Join us for a presentation on "Making the Transition to Mountaineering." Everyone is invited for a bite to eat and interactive multimedia presentation at the Flaming Grill Cafe near our retail partner Bobcat's Adventure Sports in Sacramento. The presentation is aimed at helping enthusiasts already familiar with backpacking, rock climbing, or peak bagging to make the leap into technical mountaineering without getting in over your head! We'll go into the skills, gear, and information you need to get started with technical mountain climbing this year. Everyone is invited to attend and bring your experience, thoughts and questions! Maximum 40, pre-registration only, 8:00 - 9:30 pm.

• Please register to attend - we have room for only 40 MAA members.
• FREE for Apex members, $10 for Base members and $20 for Associate members - you can become an MAA member here.
• Please order before 8:30 pm, presentation will start about 8:45 and end about 9:30 pm.

• Bobcat's Adventure Sports will be open before and after the event to check out gear, rentals and purchase!
