    Hi All -

I’ve always used keens for summer hikes because they’re wide but I’m interested in something with a vibram sole, last year I got some scarpa crux but they’re not great for 10mi trails.

Anyone tried a low cut non-gtx shoe they like alot that fits WIDE?  Please email suggestions to gregorypwayland@gmail.com or post, I’d appreciate it!

    Hey Gregory,

For what its worth... I have had feet issues for awhile now and I need a wide shoe as well.  I purchased the Hoka speed goats because they were wide, cushiny, and I figured I could use them for training.  They happened to have a vibram sole and I figured it was just an added bonus.

Then I went for a hike in them and OMG the stuck to everything, even more so when the were wet.  The only issue is that they are truly a summer a summer shoe and have little to no protection from the elements.  I'm looking at buying the mid version for "hiking" and training.

    Good luck
